PADI Sidemount

Find a new way to configure your cylinders with PADI Sidemount. Sidemount configurations are an alternative to the traditional back-mount.

Classroom

During the classroom portion of this course you will learn specialized techniques that are required for sidemount diving, some of which include:

• Gas management utilizing independent cylinders
• Equipment considerations
• Communication
• Problem solving
• Water entries

Confined Water Dives

Students will complete one confined water dive and will be required to demonstrate proficiency before completeing the open water dives requirement.

Open Water Dives

Students will complete three open water dives

Course Options

This course typically take place on weekends.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Students must have the following for class:

• Student must be 15 years of age
• Student must have PADI Open Water or equivalent rating
• PADI student folder on file
• Diversions' Student Agreement on file
• All knowledge reviews completed
